GIRLS RUGBY EASTER SERIES 2024

Dutch Girls Rugby is hosting her first International Girls Tournament for U14, U16 & U18.
During Easter, on March 30th & 31st 2024 we hope to welcome many girls' teams
​from The UK, Europe and beyond! Are you eggcited? Registration opens today!!

We have two levels of competition and therefore we welcome: 
​Gold Cup (Elite Teams) & Silver Plate (Touring Teams)

Age Category, Dispensation & Age Control

For the teams we accept girl born in:

U14:  1 sept 2009 - 31 aug 2011
​U16: 1 sept 2007 - 31 aug 2009
U 18: 1 sept 2005 - 31 aug 2007

We do offer dispensation for up to 3 players who are a few months over the age limit, but only a maximum of 2 can play simultaneously. A few players may be younger, participation on their own risk and with written permission from their parents.

​Age verification will be conducted throughout the tournament at various points.

Matches
All teams are set to play a minimum of 5 to 6 matches in the span of 2 days. The match format is 15s.

Who May Participate

We welcome: Gold Cup (Elite Teams) & Silver Plate (Touring Teams).

Gold Cup Teams participating should preferably be from the highest ​ level of competition their country. High Level Teams seeking the toughest competition in their age group.
Silver Plate Teams ​Club Teams or Barbarian Teams seeking for a great, fun tournament

Maximum number of players per team is 23.

Number of Teams in the Tournament
We strive for a minimum of 6 teams per age group.

When Does the Registration Open
Starting October 14th, registration will open for all teams. We aim to finalize the tournament lineup by the end of February 2024.

Accommodation & Transportation
Accommodation and transportation should be arranged by yourselves. However, we do suggest rugby touring companies or hostels that can help you out with all logistics:

Transfers (Airport & Tournament)
Prices do not include transfers. If required, your team can book an airport transfer as well as tournament transfers. Please be advised that tournament hotels are not located within walking distance from the tournament venues, making transfers necessary.

BBQ on Sunday
On Day One (Saturday March 30th) we will end the day with a BBQ & Disco. BBQ vouchers can be purchased for € 15,00 p.p.. Dietary requirements will be asked for after registration (vegetarian or glutenfree). 

Payment
Registration fee per team: € 200,00
This fee covers:
Lunch (twice)
A commemorative keepsake

Upon booking, teams will receive 2 invoices. The first one, covering 25% of the total booking amount, is due within 8 days of the invoice date. The second payment, covering the remaining 75% of the total booking amount, should be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Cancellation
Due to the high level of our tournaments, team cancellations within the last 3 months are not accepted, meaning all fees paid are non-refundable.

Insurance
Teams are expected to arrange their own insurance.
